The humanitarian crisis in Cox’s Bazar has reached alarming levels. Multiple trades in two interventions
Delivered skills development training in multiple trades on two interventions: one is hand stitching (Nakshi katha, macrame, doll making), and another one is jute crafts (floor mats, towel making, bamboo crafts).
Major Activities
Provided in-kind business input support (tools, materials, and equipment) to enable trained beneficiaries to launch home-based businesses.
Facilitated market linkage support to promote income generation through product sales.
Engaged select participants in Cash-for-Work (CFW) activities including cleaning, baby care, center renovation, and construction tasks.
Focused on empowerment of women, with over 60% of beneficiaries being female.
