Tanbir Hossain

Tanbir Hossain is an experienced business development and resource mobilization expert in the development and humanitarian nexus with over seven years of dedicated service at PROTTYASHI. In his role, he has significantly contributed to the organization’s business development, program management, and organizational growth. Tanbir has been instrumental in fundraising and partnership management, focusing on identifying funding opportunities, leading program development, maintaining partner relationships, and managing due diligence communications with partners and donors.

In addition to his primary responsibilities, Mr. Tanbir plays key role in PROTTYASHI‘s knowledge management unit. He provides valuable technical support to the monitoring and evaluation department to ensure PROTTYASHI’s commitment to maintain high program quality and standard crafted reports to partners and donors.

Mr. Tanbir holds both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of Dhaka, where he studied in the Department of Soil, Water, and Environment. He has also earned a Master’s degree in Development Studies (MDS) from the same institution.

A passionate naturalist, Mr. Tanbir is committed to environmental and agricultural conservation. In 2013, driven by his enthusiasm for sustainability, he co-founded environmentmove.earth, an online platform dedicated to educating and raising awareness about environmental issues and promoting a sustainable future.
