Anowara Begum, 32, faced a life filled with hardship. With her husband struggling to find consistent work, the burden of supporting their family — including two sons and a daughter with dreams of education — fell squarely on her shoulders.
Determined to rise above poverty, Anowara took a bold step into entrepreneurship, launching a small business with limited resources. But financial challenges soon forced her to put her dreams on hold. To keep her family afloat, she turned to manual labor — a tough path, but one she faced with courage.

She used the funds wisely to open a grocery shop, offering everyday essentials and baby products. With careful planning and the strong support of her family, her small shop began to flourish. Her monthly income steadily rose, eventually reaching Tk 30,000 — a remarkable turnaround from her earlier struggles.
Anowara didn’t stop there. With newfound confidence, she reinvested her earnings into livestock and poultry farming, purchasing goats and chickens. As her animals grow and multiply, so do her ambitions. She now dreams of launching her own native poultry and goat farms, recognizing the vast potential these ventures hold.
