Our Impact in Action
Nutrition Program । Integrated Agricultural Practice Project
In the heart of Bangladesh, where agriculture is a way of life, a quiet crisis persists—malnutrition fueled by poverty, limited education, and long-held food myths. Though meals are a daily routine, they often lack the essential nutrients needed for healthy growth and well-being. PROTTYASHI implemented the Integrated Agricultural Practice Project to equip teachers and farmers with essential knowledge on nutrition, dietary diversity, and safe cooking methods. PROTTYASHI trains teachers and farmers—two key pillars of rural communities. Teachers shape young minds and can instill healthy eating habits early on, creating lasting change across generations. Farmers, despite being food producers, often lack awareness about balanced nutrition. By empowering them with practical knowledge, they learn not only to grow diverse, nutritious crops but also to prepare and consume them wisely. By equipping these change-makers, PROTTYASHI ensures that nutrition education becomes a community-driven, sustainable movement—rooted in local knowledge and everyday practice.
