Livelihood Improvement for Everyone (LIFE)
The project focused on strengthening the economic resilience of vulnerable households from both Rohingya and host communities by promoting skill enhancement, entrepreneurship, and market access. Beneficiaries were identified through a structured household assessment process. Major Achievements

vulnerable households (250 from Hnila and 285 from Sabrang) were selected through a rigorous KoBo-based survey and screening process, with extra beneficiaries included to offset potential dropouts.

beneficiaries received skill development training and start-up support across diverse trades including organic vegetable gardening, medicinal plant cultivation, goat and poultry farming, bamboo, wooden, leather, jute, and herbal crafts.

Project Objective
To enhance the capacity and skill of the man, women, and youths of the host community in Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazila through which they could be involved in different income-generating activities and be able to increase their household income.

Ukhiya (Rajapalong and Jaliapalong), Teknaf (Hnila and Sabrang) and Camp 9, 8W, 18, 20E of Rohingya Community, Cox’s Bazar.

Vulnerable Households Report Better Livelihoods and Market Access
39.75% of the project-targeted vulnerable households expressed that the opportunities from the project had improved their livelihood and their access to market systems and finance.
