OBA Sanitation Program
The program was designed to improve rural sanitation by increasing access to safe and hygienic latrines for underserved households. It combined financial support mechanisms with market-based approaches to make sanitation more affordable and accessible. Through collaboration with local actors and entrepreneurs, the initiative not only enabled the construction of thousands of latrines but also strengthened the sanitation supply chain. As a result, rural families experienced better hygiene practices, reduced health risks, and improved quality of life.
