This project is designed to sustainably eradicate poverty by empowering poor households through capacity building and resource development. It adopts an integrated and holistic approach, addressing key areas such as education, health, nutrition, sanitation, income generation, and youth development. A strong emphasis is placed on community participation, particularly involving adolescents, women, and youth in awareness, service delivery, and livelihood activities.

Successfully formed 792 adolescent clubs (396 for girls and 396 for boys) across Anowara, Banshkhali, Chakaria, Maheshkhali, and Kutubdia, creating structured and safe spaces for adolescent engagement.

Reached over 38,189 adolescents through 1,601 health awareness sessions, improving knowledge on adolescent health, menstrual hygiene, and well-being.

Major Activities

Establish adolescent clubs for both girls and boys across multiple upazilas to create safe, structured spaces for their growth and engagement.

Conduct social awareness campaigns to inform adolescents about critical social and health issues.

Implement health awareness sessions that educate adolescents on reproductive health, menstrual hygiene, and general well-being.

Organize soft skills development trainings to build communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.

Hold sports events, marathons, and youth fairs to encourage participation, physical activity, and social interaction.

The project is being implemented in Anowara and Banshkhali upazilas of Chattogram, and Maheshkhali and Kutubdia upazilas of Cox’s Bazar district.

The project works with 14,760 adolescents from different communities, focusing on both girls and boys. It engages them in awareness sessions, skill development, and social activities to support their personal growth and encourage positive behavior.

The programme has created meaningful opportunities for adolescents to learn, engage, and grow through clubs, awareness sessions, and skill-building activities. By reaching over 38,000 young people, it has helped increase awareness on health, social issues, and personal development. Through active participation in campaigns, sports, and cultural events, adolescents are becoming more confident, aware, and involved in their communities, contributing to positive social change.
